hey girls finally have decent computer access. so I’m about to post a few pics I’ve the projects I’ve been working on.
The layout is the one i’m working on for submission and the ATC is for submission with a few other kaszazz girls to australian cardmaking mag….i think thats the one anyway. the theme is things with wings/spring.
long time July 10, 2009
I’m back June 7, 2009
I’ve finally got not only the computer working but the camera too. so I’ve now been able to take pics of a few things I’ve been working on. the first is a pic of my entry for the kaszazz bella comp from a TTD in mid may. Incase your wondering….it’s an advent calendar.
I’m really happy with this but have to make a few changes since a couple of things have been deleted. so the next sample I make to send in to kaszazz will prob be in either the bella range again or i was thinking of making it in the enchanted colours or the christmas papers, not much is done with them.
the next 2 pics is from me playing with shrinkies. the first i did on shrinkies week it’s a card I quite liked after I’d finished playing with. the second one (ATC leaf) i did the shrinkies on shrinkies week but I did the actual card the other night so i guess you could say it ties in both themes.

And finally Here’s 2 ATC’s I made this over the last couple of weeks for the “once was white” theme, as you can see I’ve been playing with ATC’s lately and am now quite hooked. anyway the black card I’ve actually made a stencil and coloured with 5 different coloured distress inks on white then gone from there. I so love tim holtz distress inks and paints, and if you want to have a go with them or love them as much as me feel free to contact me or one of my fellow consultants. the second card is weathered wood and shabby shutters distress paint. shabby shutters on the base card and theres about 4 different colours on the crumpled paper which was then spitzed with a mini mister.
so thats it from me for tonight girls I’ll attempt to play with some more stuff during the week and hopefull be on here again next week……can’t wait until I get my laptop in july/aug.
Blog wars Pow chalks May 13, 2009
hey girls well I got playing last night with my chalks and made a few SIMPLE cards for those reading this to see.
so projects 1-4 (cos I may not get time to be back here til mid next week)

Ok girls so here’s my 4 cards this week….that’s got to be a first for me finishing and POSTING more than one or 2 blog wars projects a week. any way the first card I did was the “star” cards. I’ve used basic brights chalks, this would have prob looked better in the shimmers but I don’t have them yet. and I’ve coloured in long sweeping strokes. I’ve then done the same and coloured in a few stars on another piece of white card and cut out a few stars and magic mounted them on. I’ve then embossed the saying in silver chalked in pink and magic mounted onto card. I’ve also added some icestickles in lines to make the stars look like shooting stars.
The second card I’ve emossed some leaves in clear and colouered using the earth tones chalks. stick it to a piece of card with a few paper scraps, flourish, bazzill yam and parakeet. then stamped “warm wishes” from the new mini messages set.
The third card I just had to play with my perfect medium pens. and we all know the saying “less is more” so thats my inspiration for this card. I just drew a simple tree with the perfect meduim pen coloured it with chalks (basic brights) then drew the star and coloured it also then added alittle icestickles to the star and stamped merry christmas at the bottom corner. can’t remember the colour but it’s from the wood grains colourbox cats eye set.
the last card I got the stamps from the kaszazz promo (60-4-30) and I just LOVE these boats. so had to play with them. I’ve stamped the smaller boat at the back left and coloured the whole bottom and boat part of card with the blue from the basic brights set. then I’ve stamped the larger boat onto another piece of paper and coloured it in using my aqua brush and picking up colour from the basic brights set, I love this technique but it didn’t work as good with the basic brights as it does with the jewels set. I’ve then cut out the boat and magic mounted it on the card and stamped “you’re the best” from the new mini messages from march release.
POW blog wars May 10, 2009
he ygirls I was super slack last week and have only just started getting around to taking pics of last weeks projects.
here’s the first one made out of the enchanted paper range
. just something super simple.
On another note I finally finished my project to take to the Team Training Day next saturday. I’ll post a pic after wednesday 20th May. Am really happy with it and I think it’ll look good in other colours too so thats a huge bonus.
I’ll post more pics later tonight and check out all my fellow bloggers (list to right of page) tonight.
happy scrapping it’ll then girls.
Happy mothers day May 10, 2009
Happy mother’s day to all my fellow mums and mums to be. I hope everyone had a good one and either got spoilt or spoilt their mum’s. I got a day out and i went and spoilt my little boy…..how that works i don’t know but thats what happened. LOL
Anyway I’ve been really busy this week finishing off my bella project for the TTD next week. only got a few little finishing touches to go and then the pain in bum job of writing it all up. I’ve also been flat out doing a few project. I’ve done 5 lots of cards, finished off 4 layouts and a couple page and card workshops in the last week-week 1/2. here’s a few pics of a few of the projects I’ve finished off.

Here’s 2 of the card workshops I’ve done over the last week. top workshop is the puzzle bling cards which I had alot of fun doing and then I also did the magnolia gloss cards. which are so very pretty and this new technique is quite tricky until you get to the point of colouring the last magnolia. just a hint to all the girls who haven’t done this workshop yet….make sure you not only have a good quality paintbrush but your lime pastel and amber clay ink pads are really “juicey”.

this is the gelati circle it workshop that I’ve done in Flourish papers. one of the kaszazz girls did it in these papers and I loved it so had to copy. Sorry can’t remember who that was now. also i didn’t have the curly dragonfly but I had the new one out of the jan release which i love more anyway. I think it makes this layout alittle more masculine anyway. and it’s just perfect for the photos.

blog wars magic stamp week April 27, 2009
I hope you had a good weekend. As we all know the weather was a bit wet here in north Vic but on the bright side it’s perfect weather to spend scrapbooking. So Of course I did. LOL
Any way on blog wars this week, this weeks Product of the week is the “Magic Stamp”. It can be found in the current Kaszazz catalogue. You can create your own stamps by molding and remolding the foam block, they are great to use as backgrounds on any project. The images remain until block is reheated. Besides impressing the stamps you already own, the surface patterns are endless, just by using a variety of items everyone has in and around their home for example, I’ve tried molding pattens from crumpled up paper, shells, jewellery & buttons, kids toys and fabric – even an old pair of denim jeans. Kaszazz has a fabulous 2 hour Workshop (The Magic Stamp Jeans layout) created by Sonya Edwards. In this workshop you create two 12 x12 layouts using the magic stamp and a pair of jeans technique. Here’s the pic of the one I did.

I’ll be playing with the magic stamp more over the next couple of days with heaps of ideas floating around in my head I can’t wait to do alittle creating tomorrow while my little monster is off playing with other kids at child care……God I love my tuesdays, even if it’s only 4 hours of peace and quite it’s 4 hours of heaven sometimes. LOL
I got most of the info on this stamp from the kaszazz, magic stamp websites and Joanne’s blog. the link to her blog is on the right hand side of the page. Joanne and other Senior consultants are a wealth of info. So just a thanx in advance of any info or tips I may gain from any and all my fellow Kaszazz consultants.
Now for abit of fun thats running the rounds of the scrapbooking blogs……a “what scrapbooking item are you?” quiz. the link is here http://www.quizilla.com/quizzes/645550/what-scrapbooking-item-are-you if you want to have a go. and here’s my results.

You are Fibers!
Fun and crazy at times. You are a warm fuzzy kind of person. You run around getting things done but still find time for fun! You have so many diverse interests that it is often hard to pin you down to any one thing. People love your friendly attitude and carefree ways. You often brighten other people’s days. But Fibers Beware – Sometimes people don’t take you seriously because of your happy-go-lucky ways. Sometimes you find yourself feeling left out from decision making that could directly affect you. Even though you like to be happy and cheerful, make sure others know that you can also be serious and in tune with reality.
I’ve been busy April 25, 2009
With school holidays over Both Julieann and myself now have time to scrap again…..hopefully. anyway on friday we both did this layout (Whimsical Love by Naomi Elliott). I ran out of time and had to finish it off while at my boyfriends place but while I was finishing it off he honestly thought something strange was happening with all the oh’s and ah’s and the “OMG I just love this page” the photos don’t do the page justice. so if you haven’t done this workshop it is a must do. There’s so many new techniques and a few older ones to that we just love to play with, but the ink blending tool is a MUST HAVE for all scrapbookers. if you don’t have one I can get them through kaszazz and they are so cheap. just make sure you buy extra ink pads it makes it so much easier for projects with a few colours like this one. If you love this project Naomi has created heaps more projects all wonderful. A link to her blog is on the right side of the page so feel free to go and have a sticky beak and get inspired. I know I do every time I check out her and all the other wonderful kaszazz consultants blogs.

Today In Victoria we had the perfect kind of weather to sit inside a scrapbook. and I was doublely lucky because my little monster had a HUGE nap and I got to finish off another couple workshops which I’ll post heaps of pics at a later date. And me being me I had a huge pile of projects that needed “finishing touches” so I got off my butt and finished some plus I started and finished the freestyle flower layout created by Melissa Spoljaric. It’s so cute and funky and EASY even the most beginner of beginners could easily do it. I used the “my boy” paper range with bazzill red instead of the Apricot bazzill and Gelati papers that it’s orginally made with.

Blog wars ebony and Ivory week April 25, 2009
Hey all. as part of Kaszazz and facebook blog wars here’s my first couple of projects. the theme for this week was ebony and ivory papers and stamps.
